1). THE BAMUMBU INTEGRATED GOAT FARM (BIG-FARM PROJECT)

This a commercial farm aimed at empowering the local home-based community to generate sustainable income by rearing goats, sheep, bees, pigs, and chickens using a 50-hectare piece of land donated by that community for that purpose. The project is still on the conception phase. The BIG-FARM PROJECT will be concerned with goat farming, goat meat processing as well as packaging in Dih. Some of the products and services we will be offering are:

  1. Breeding services.
  2. Livestock health services.
  3. Sales of processed goat meat,
  4. Ecotourism.
  5. Community training.
  6. Animal feed processing.
  7. Research and marketing

 Goat is a multi-functional animal and plays a significant role in the economy and nutrition of landless, small, and marginal farmers in the country. Goats can efficiently survive in available shrubs and trees in adverse harsh environments and low fertility lands. Also, the goat has religious and ritualistic importance. They are prolific breeders and attain sexual maturity at the age of 10-12 months.


 The gestation period in goats is short and twinning is much commanded smaller body size and docile nature, housing requirements and management problems with goats are less. Beneficiary communities include but not limited to:

  1. Bamumbu People
  2. Njen People.
  3. Ashong.
  4. Bechati.
  5. Folepi.
  6. Besali.

2) The Magha Demonstration and Seed Multiplication Center (DSMC). This project is aimed at Producing and distributing high-yielding and disease-resistant potato and bean seeds. LocationThis Center will be located in Magha village in Bamumbu, wabane subdivision of Lebialem Division, South West Region of Cameroon. Start of project is January 2025
